Returns Exchanges

Unwashed, unworn, or defective merchandise may be returned to our resort shop location within 90 days of original purchase date with or without a receipt. Sea Island shops require valid identification when processing all returns and exchanges without an original receipt. Valid identification is also required to receive or redeem a non-transferable merchandise certificate or mail check.

Returns With an Original Sales Receipt

Store refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid or a merchandise exchange when returned within 90 days of the purchase date. Merchandise returned more than 90 days after the purchase date will not be eligible for a return.
 
Online refunds will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid or merchandise exchange at any time. A mail check may be issued when original form of payment is unavailable for credit.
 
A mail check will be issued when items over $5 are paid for by check and returned within 5 days of the date of purchase online or in stores. A return/exchange or gift receipt does not serve as an original receipt online or in stores.

Returns with a Return/Exchange or Gift Receipt

Store refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise certificate by mail for the price paid. Online refunds will be issued in the form of a gift card or merchandise exchange for the price paid.A gift receipt serves as proof of purchase price only for online and in stores. Store refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise certificate, merchandise exchange, or a merchandise certificate by mail for the price paid.

Returns Without a Receipt

Store refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise certificate by mail for the current selling price. Sea Island shops require valid identification when processing all returns and exchanges without an original receipt.Online refunds will defer to account history and price paid of order number, if provided by customer. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment or mail check.

Price Adjustments
Sea Island shops offer a one-time price adjustment when an original sales receipt is presented within 14 days of date of purchase. Online offers a one-time price adjustment within 14 days from invoice date.

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

To report a lost or stolen Sea Island Gift Card, call 1-888.580.4343. An original sales receipt or gift receipt is required to replace the remaining balance of a lost or stolen Sea Island Gift card.

Returning or Exchanging Items by Mail

To return any Sea Island Online purchase by mail:
  1. Detach the top customer portion of the return form for your records.
  2. Circle the item(s) that you are returning or exchanging on the bottom portion of the return form and note the reason why.
  3. Indicate if you want us to credit the card used to place the order or send you a refund check. If you'd like an exchange, let us know what you want by filling in the reverse side of the return form. We will pay the costs for shipping the exchange order.
  4. Circle the name and address where we should send the check or exchange. If you want it sent to a different address, please complete the box on the reverse side of the return form.
  5. Pack and seal your return securely, in the original package if possible, and include the return form. We've provided a return label as part of the return form. Packages must be returned prepaid -- we do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.

We will only refund shipping charges if we've sent the wrong item, or if the item sent is defective.

Returning Items to a Sea Island Shop

You can return your order to any Sea Island shop. Please call 1.888.580.4343 for details. Please make sure to bring the original invoice and the credit card used for the original purchase (or gift receipt). A valid identification is required to process all returns and exchanges with a return/exchange receipt.

Credit Card Refunds

On returns, we can only credit the credit card used for the original purchase. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.
